Online check-in with the EU Digital Identity Wallet
Every booking gets an online check-in: guest details, ID document, address, co-travellers, signature and house rules. Guests with an EU Digital Identity Wallet (eIDAS 2.0) share their verified name, date of birth and nationality in seconds through myeudi.app and phone.codeb.io.

Verified identity, selective disclosure
The guest approves the request in the wallet; only the fields needed for check-in are requested. Verified fields are marked in the dashboard and on the Meldeschein.
- Name, date of birth, nationality
- Address and document when the wallet shares them
- The wallet can be chosen as the document type
- Works next to the normal form — nobody is forced to use it
Everything else the check-in needs
You decide which fields are required: ID document and number, ID photo, home address, signature, co-travellers. Arrival time and house-rule acceptance are part of the same step.

| myeudi.app — web wallet | Tested end to end via phone.codeb.io (same data) · October 2026 |
| Other EUDI wallets | Expected to work when they present the EU PID over OpenID for Verifiable Presentations (SD-JWT VC or mdoc); not yet tested by us |
| Fallback | Guests without a compatible wallet complete the normal online check-in form |
Frequently asked questions
Is the EU Digital Identity Wallet already supported?
Yes, as an option. phone.codeb.io requests the person identification data (PID) with OpenID for Verifiable Presentations, as SD-JWT VC or mdoc. National wallets are still being rolled out, so many guests do not have one yet; they use the normal form.
Which wallets have been tested?
The myeudi.app wallet — both the Android app and the web-based wallet — tested end to end through phone.codeb.io in October 2026. Other wallets that present the EU PID over OpenID for Verifiable Presentations should work too; a guest whose wallet cannot answer simply completes the form.
Do guests need an app to check in?
No. The check-in is a web page; the wallet is optional.
