Feature · tourist tax
Tourist tax, city tax and Kurtaxe — collected before arrival
Malta’s eco-contribution is built in. For any other country or town you define the rule once: per person per night, per night, per stay or a percentage of the price, with dated rates, caps and child rates.

Rules, not hard-coded rates
A tax definition has a name, the collecting authority and a schedule of dated rates. The rate that applies is chosen by the check-in date, so announced changes can be entered in advance.
- Per person per night, per night, per stay or % of price
- Adult age and reduced child rate
- Cap in nights per person
- Platform-wide (country) or per host (town)
Its own payment and receipt
The tax is a separate step in the guest portal with its own receipt, never bundled with the deposit. Waive it with a reason, or record a cash payment.
Reports
A tourist-tax report per definition and period, and for Malta the official MTA return.
